L. Travel Journal: A travel journal is a written record or diary kept by a person
while he/she is travelling. It is a personal account of the experiences, observations,
and reflections during the journey. In a travel journal, travellers often document
details such as the places they visit, the people they meet, the food they try, the
sights they see, and the emotions one experience.

Imagine that you are Phileas Fogg. Create a travel journal of any one country from
your journey around the world. You can narrate your experiences, encounters, and
emotions during each leg of the expedition. Use descriptive language and share
your favourite moments.

Phileas Fogg’s adventurous journey around the world in “Around the World in Eighty Days”
took him to a variety of captivating places. Starting from London, he traveled to Egypt,
where he encountered a rebellion. Next, he explored India, where he rescued the young
widow Aouda. From there, he ventured to China and experienced a thrilling elephant ride
through its dense forests. Crossing the Pacific, he reached the United States, where he faced
a high-speed train chase in the American West. His travels continued through the Atlantic,
Egypt again, and finally back to London. Throughout the expedition, Fogg’s determination
and curiosity led him to discover diverse landscapes and cultures.
