Be Ready! UNIT-3 THEME : EMBRACING INDIVIDUALITY AND UNIQUENESS
Individuals should not shy away from confronting both their strengths and
weaknesses, even when it may be uncomfortable. By doing so, they can grow
and become more authentic versions of themselves. The poem highlights the
value of moments of solitude and contemplation, particularly during times of
inner turmoil and self-doubt.
Recite and Understand
That mirror
Which makes of men a transparency,
Who holds that mirror
And bids us such a breast-bared
spectacle to see
Of you and me?
That mirror
Whose magic penetrates like a dart,
Who lifts that mirror
And throws our mind back on us, and
our heart,
Until we start?
