Mastering Grammar



            •    A  preposition  is  a  word  that  is  placed  before  a  noun  or  a  pronoun  and  establishes
                 the  positional  relation  with  other  words  in  the  sentence.  For  example,

                 1.  Grandfather  decided  to  transfer  Timothy  to  a  zoo.
                 2.  Timothy  was  put  on  a  diet  of  raw  mutton  and  cod  liver  oil.



            I.   Fill in  the blanks with the appropriate  prepositions:
