The moments of natural beauty and serenity have the power to uplift our spirits
even in times of solitude or reflection. The poet’s experience of witnessing
the golden daffodils and their cheerful dance brought him joy and a sense
of tranquility.
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
